I have been working in the Hair styling industry for 9+ years.  I gained my experience through obtaining my Cosmetology Certification at FCTC located in St, Augustine, FL, and also spending many years under the guidance and mentorship of master stylist and business owners such as A Nu Twist Salon, Attractions Salon, and Brazil’s Waxing Center. I was also blessed with the opportunity to be able to participate in the Gator Boot Camp(GEAP) Program offered by The University of Florida to local, and upcoming Entrepreneurs in the city of Gainesville. 

Starting my business as a single mother of four children has been and still a journey. I contribute all of my success to “God” most importantly, and my “Village” whom have been nothing less of supportive along the way. My children are the inspiration behind my business name. They are “My 1st Priority”, and the fuel to my fire that keeps my passion burning in order to run my business. The name of my company is called “1st Priority Salon and Spa” in which I specialize in natural hair, styling of the natural hair, Locs including Microlocs, Loc Extensions, Loc Start, Grooms, Repairs, etc.. Braids for children and adults, waxing, and much more.  My mission is to keep clients skin and hair healthy, thriving, and vibrant to ultimately ensure that all clients experience the best self care services.
